Job Description
* To manage and track projects of Messaging Bulk&Push group
assuring the necessary interaction with other competence centres and
external entities as Finance, GSCM, others
* To provide support to OpCos in deploying/migrating their 3rd
parties MMS/SMS services
* To provide support to internal customers that needs to deliver MMS/SMS.
* To define and optimize internal processes and operational procedures
* To organise and manage the knowledge sharing towards the OpCos
and the other global functions
Key accountabilities
1. Project management, Customer support, Process Optimization and
Budget management
* Manage and coordinates messaging Projects
* Support Customers (internal and OpCos) and coordinates
provisioning of technical deliverables
* To control budget spending within Bulk&Push team and to track
the alignment vs the budget revisions
* Ensure a consistent usage of the external resources in line with
the project scope and deliverables
* Propose, set up and continuously improve the internal processes
2. Drive common processes and manage changes in line with evolving
requirements of the VF Organization
* Monitor and report on a weekly basis (or as required) to line
management on the key project and programmes
* Ensure activities are well synchronized with other teams within
the projects and outside of it if appropriate
* Develop and evolve processes within Vodafone to ensure maximum
productivity & efficiency is continuously achieved through the
different evolutionary steps of the Global – Local relationship
3. Ensure effective communication within and outside the function
(CISP, GM, OpCos, GT…)
* Define a clear and appropriate communication plan with the OpCos
and with the other relevant global functions
* Timely issue warning and recommend on strategies and
alternatives appropriately to deliver against the project objectives
and targets
* Grant a timely and effective information flow
4. Drive Global and Local teams to achieve best performance targets and goals
* Work closely with the global stakeholders (i.e. G-SCM, Global
Marketing) to ensure a consolidated view is adopted, which meets the
expectations and requirements from all stakeholders
* Influence virtual management teams within Messaging and OpCos to
achieve the programme objectives and targets,(Setting clear objectives
and deliverables to ensure Project's functional team (Messaging ,
OpCos, Vendors …) deliver against the target.
* Suggest and support new ways of achieving the programme
objective and targets (encourage a culture of continuous improvement
and best practice to achieve operational effectiveness across the
programme.)
