poi nei termini di utilizzo sembra permettere l'uso come avatar...

comunque prima di pubblicarli io chiederei il permesso...
(li ho scaricati tutti anche io.. con un programmino java che ha dato i
nomi dei file corrispondenti al nome dei tux)

ecco i termini di utilizzo
"Terms of use

Every image available in the Tux Factory belongs exclusively to its
author, to CrystalXP.net (and also to Everaldo.com for the G1 Tux).

They're only downloadable for personal use, in your private life, or on
the internet (for an avatar, a sign and things like that).

Webmasters : It's strictly forbidden to reproduce totally or partially
the Tux Factory whithout any permission (even for an avatar gallery on
your forum). You would incur legal action.

Every other use would need an authorization from the author (or from the
authors) and would be accompanied by copyright credits and by a link to
the Tux Factory.
  Eg : personnal site, prints, clothes ...

Commercial use isn't allowed by the author except in some cases, whether
it's direct or not.
So what follows is forbidden :

  - The use of the images in a software
  - The use of the image as a graphic element on a professional web site
  - The sale or the redistribution of the images
  - Their use on byproducts
  - etc... (non-exhaustive list)

When you download an image on the Tux Factory, you must respect these
terms of use, in accordance with the wishes of the authors."
